Khaleda returns Tuesday
Opposition chief Khaleda Zia will return on Tuesday after performing Umrah.
The BNP Chairperson will board an Emirates flight to Dhaka in the early hours of Tuesday, said her Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan.
Khaleda left the country for Saudi Arabia on Jul 27. She has met with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The Press Secretary said, “The opposition chief will start off from Jeddah Airport after Sehri (Monday night). She will arrive here in the afternoon.”
He said Khaleda was in Makkah’s Mashjid-ul-Haram at Shab-e-Qadr. She had Iftar and said her Tarabi prayers there.
After visiting the shrine of Prophet Muhammad, she sat to say prayers at Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Khaleda travelled from Madinah to Makkah and performed Umrah on Jul 31. She is a royal guest of the Saudi King.
